Have you heard of the lyrics:
“You really need a Cebuana
I’m more than a summertime lover”
It’s from a popular Filipino song called ‘Cebuana.’ What those lyrics — and the entire song — basically talk about is how Cebuanas are great to have as long-term lovers.
If you want a relationship that’s serious and still enjoyable, then you really need a Cebuana.
But therein lies the question, does a Cebuana need you?
Or, in other words, are you the average Cebuana’s type?
The good thing about Cebuanas is that they know exactly what they want in a man and won’t hesitate to let you know whether or not you made the cut. You won’t need to play guessing games with them.
Of course, the ideal type varies from person to person. But in general, Cebuanas tend to gravitate towards certain characteristics in a man.

So, in a way, they don’t like uptight men. The average Cebuana’s type is someone she knows she can have fun with.
2. Is family-oriented.
One of the distinct traits that Filipinos are known for is their love for their family. It’s not uncommon to see family members still choosing to live with one another or at the very least are close to each other even after forming families of their own.
This is why the average Cebuana usually gravitates towards men who have close ties with their family. If she can see that you value your family more than anything, then she knows that any family she builds with you is in good hands.
3. Is expressive and affectionate.
